The older I have become, the more I have become acquainted with the real “me” … the “me” that I was meant to be from the beginning of time. I think that one of the gifts of the autumn season in life is the gift of contentment.

The heart of this holiday of hearts is only discovered in my ability to love others and to open my heart to be loved in return.

When your name is recalled at the family dinner table over the next 50 or so years … what are the statements that you would like connected to your memory?

These are the 10 faith-filled facts that I hope to be my legacy for the entire family McLeod and for those yet to come.

Winter is a certainty in life  ~ as is the month of January.  

However, depression … discouragement … the blahs … and emotional malaise are not required attitudes during this dark time of year. 

I am determined as a child of most High God not to waste one minute of this extravagant gift we have been given! I refuse to wallow in the past or to predict the future but I resolve to use today for His glory and His purposes.

So for ​this​ ​new​ year ... how about instead of setting the same resolutions that we’ve set for the past 10, 20, 30-plus years ... what if we were to partner with God and get creative?

My friend, you have been given 366 pieces in 2020 of pure gold known as “days”.

The songs of Christmas pronounce the very meaning, the genuine heart and the vivid story of this holy season.  

Would you travel through time with me this week?  Although it is the second week of December 2019 … let me take you back to a December when life was simpler and when the joy of Christmas exploded into my small world.

I feel the call, in this season of my life, to reevaluate how I am living and to consider precisely what I am spending the hours of my days on.
