D-Day was about freedom … about paying a great price … about giving oneself so that others could live … about putting aside preference and ease for a call and a purpose greater than oneself.

I have spent years of my life frustrated because none of my prayers seemed to be answered.  Can any of you relate?  Come on now … don’t leave me alone here in the conundrum of prayer. 

I have also experienced great joy and victory simply because I decided to pray without ceasing.   

As I have done a painful self-examination of the savings account of my heart … I have come to realize what is important to me in terms of earth’s treasures.

The Lord wants you to have a spring in your step and a sparkle in your eye regardless of your finances, your health or your relationships.

I believe that the words “maternal” and “powerful” are not mutually exclusive but they create a glorious harmony that the world is waiting to hear! 

How wonderful to know that God is still on the throne of my life!

How wonderful to know that I am never alone!

How wonderful to know that joy is available to me every hour of every day!

I love the thrill of checking off even the smallest tasks on my perpetual “To-Do List”.

You were the joy set before Him!  I was the joy set before Him!

You were the reason that He stayed on the cross … you were on His mind while He hung there … and you are the reason that the tomb was empty!

Jesus prayed and they fell asleep. 

Jesus cried out to the Father and they snored.

Jesus sweat great drops of blood while they drooled. 

It is not the grand events upon which I have built a life, but my life has been constructed upon the glory of the simple yet profound experiences in life.

Spring is the melody while the blooms on every bush are the lyrics – and you and I are invited to sing along!

Hidden in Paul’s words is a four-word phrase that holds the key to courageous living: “For I believe God…”.

What storm has blown into your life lately?  Rather than being destroyed by this tempest, what if you allowed the disturbance to increase your capacity for rapid growth and fulfilling your destiny in God?

Regardless of what storm you may be facing, the Father is quietly but confidently asking you to come to Him; He is inviting you into the ark of His presence, where there is always safety and protection from any of life’s storms
